"Through the Mist"
I photographed this young elk as he worked his way through dense fog in Grand Teton National Park. He, like many young bulls during the elk rut, has been relegated to isolation by the larger, more mature bulls. During this time his days are spent trying to sneak cows away from the harems of the dominant bulls.
